In the post GIRL world, I'll be posting my first short story on my newly reconstructed website. "Everything's Anjee" will be the first of a series of stories I'm doing especially for the site, some short, some a little longer. And as soon as the site is ready, I'll begin posting pages.

FLASHBACK VI

Here is the sixth in the series of updated redone panels from past books for a flashback sequence that will be featured in the upcoming SIZZLE 56. This one didn't need much more then just clean up and added textures.

This will be the last of the series featured here. The rest you can see in the pages of SIZZLE 56 . Enjoy.

Here is the fifth in the series of updated redone panels from past books for a flashback sequence that will be featured in the upcoming SIZZLE 56. This panel for BG 4 and as the rest it there wasn't as much work as panels from 3 but this particular a little more work with the jacket and fur.

FLASHBACK IV

Here is the fourth in the series of updated redone panels of past BG book for a flashbak sequence in BG 5 which will be featured in the upcoming SIZZLE 56. This is from book 3 again which would make this one quite a dramatic change compared to the ones redone from BG 4. A lot like FLASHBACK 1, new rendering was acquired on this one and a few structural adjustments made as well.

Here's another piece available at Naughty Bids. Really having fun with these Faber-Castell PITT markers. As soon as I'm financially able I'll definitely invest in more (including the Copic Markers). This particular piece reintroduces a character from Peanut Butter Vol. 6 called Mistress Claire… Vol. 7 is about to get crazy.

I can only anticipate that her name is Silver, a mysterious lethal woman who seems to be strictly related to Mona's fate...

Yes, I can finally say the fourth volume to GIRL: The Second Coming is finally done. The only thing left to do is get it into the offices of NBM and let them get it out to the frothing public. (That is, if they're still interested.)

Now, I can work on other things,like having my website updated more frequently and working on new pieces, not to mention several stories i have planned especially for the site. It's good stuff.

The book may have gotten finished a few days after my due date of September, but at least it's done before the end of the world according to the Mayan calendar. Then I would really be pissed.

Soon, you can hang around the NBM site to find out when the book will be scheduled, along with all the other great books and artists they have. As for me, I'm going to take a well deserved nap. Then I'll wake up and get some sleep.

It's actually the beginning of a dream sequence where Molly recollects all the fun she had in Vol. 4. The pencils for this panel is being auctioned at Naughty Bids. Just a screen shot of my point of view at work. I captured this screen by mistake hitting the Print Screen button and had the surprise when I pasted it on the BG 5 page I was working on at the time. Then I thought it make a interesting post. Maybe a series of P.O.V shots.

After a long hiatus from working on Banana Games due to some personal issues, I'm right back on the saddle and raring to go. I'll be on a regular schedule starting this Monday (July 9th) and on the shelves as soon as possible. I'm not big on posting constant progress piece by piece but will post the occasional Book 1 and the Reduex in book 5 comparisons. I'm looking forward to giving you the remainder of the story arc and beyond.

Getting There

I meant to be able to update here a lot more than I have been, but silly things, like life, sort of get in the way. Not one to make excuses, I just get behind sometimes and need to take care of things. On the plus side I'll be spending the rest of the summer painting the last ten pages of the final GIRL book. You might be asking yourself "It's just the beginning of July. Two months for ten pages?" Like I mentioned,I'm not one to make excuses, but I have things that need taken care of also. And when you see the final pages, you'll understand. In any event, by September I hope to have this book ready for the printers.
