A thoughtful review from The Onion's website on Omaha The Cat Dancer but we'll disagree that sex in a book, movie or comic is just a distraction. It's part of our everyday lives, it affects our moods, our relationships. It is not some 'separate' 'do the dirty' thing so showing any of it detracts from the story.
And as for regretting the good 'ole days where Omaha 'was almost mainstream'? Gee, I would have liked to live in that alternative universe! In many ways, things were even worse back then, not better.
