Classic Piece from Peanut Butter Vol. 2

Just put a new piece for sale on eBay. Check it out here when you get the chance. Originally from "The Diary of Molly Fredrickson:  Peanut Butter Vol. 2" this piece is one of my all time favorites. Circa 2002 back when I used to draw significantly larger than the size of the published product. This panel, for instance, is roughly 8.5" x 11" and is just the first panel of a six panel page! So, if you're interested, as of this posting, it will only be available for another (roughly) twelve hours.

TORA TORA TORA! by Kevin J. Taylor

A few weeks ago, Barcelona held it's last bullfight ever due to numerous petitions on animal cruelty.

I wonder what they'll use that old bullring for? It would be a great place to have the comic book salons-as long as the bulls don't break in and start tossing comic book "frikis" all over the place.

Here is another comparison page showing the new retelling of BG 1 in BG Vol 5 with the original BG Vol 1 page. For those who are following it in SIZZLE know that there is a lot of fresh material in the retelling of BG 1 but there are also closer similarities to keep the story and essence of the original BG 1. Also gives you another preview page of BG 5.

Until my next post, stay naughty.

Omaha the Cat Dancer review

A thoughtful review from The Onion's website on Omaha The Cat Dancer but we'll disagree that sex in a book, movie or comic is just a distraction. It's part of our everyday lives, it affects our moods, our relationships. It is not some 'separate' 'do the dirty' thing so showing any of it detracts from the story.

And as for regretting the good 'ole days where Omaha 'was almost mainstream'? Gee, I would have liked to live in that alternative universe! In many ways, things were even worse back then, not better.
